Overview:

A farm in Chilliwack contracted Sama Services to excavate trenches for a subsurface drainage system to improve soil quality and crop yield. Timeliness was crucial as the window between harvest and planting was limited.

Execution & Results:

Using trenchers and mini-excavators, we laid over 1,200 meters of drainage pipe in under 7 days. Soil was tested and redistributed to preserve topsoil quality. The system significantly reduced water pooling and helped increase spring crop productivity. The farmer has since expanded the system to other plots.
